Agreed - Navigator made two points:
1 - Statement in a few hours 2 - would keep us up to date if there were any delay
Neither achieved

I doubt they will make an unending pledge to never do a specific thing. That would be absurd, no one can forecast the nature of gaming 10 years from today, or what the standards will be. Corporations that survive don't make those kinds of blanket statements.
So they are going to release something that walks the middle of the road and leaves the other options open. And all of the people who are currently angry are going to be more angry and the rest of us will still wonder why anyone would invest that much energy in being angry at a video game.
You are probably correct - this may well be my last day on the forums and in New Eden, but until I leave I am still a customer and making promises and failing to deliver on them is poor customer service. When I get poor service I let the business know about it.

Yep, as it should be, with corporations the vote that matters is made with your wallet.
I'm not leaving. I'm not unhappy right now, but to those that are... Vote with your money, and let the rest of us go back to enjoying ourselves. Because all the talk doesn't matter. Only the money matters.
Already done. All accounts unsubbed and running down. If I can get an answer I can live with then I might resub the main - alts will stay unsubbed as I don't trust CCP enough to make that kind of investment in the game. Right now I want to get an answer so as to make a final decision on this account.

and link to that CCP Navigator post : http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1544484&page=1#12
good link that, the ccp guy does not state a time that the post will be up soooo to the impatient ones..
go outside, have a shower, eat or something. Since there was not time the posts would be made, you cant sit there and go "Its x'oclock where where where!!" Well i guess you can but with the truth plain to see you only make yourselves look stupid /shrug
CCP Post at 11:07 - more than "a few hours" ago as per final line of post = fail No excuse for or even mention of a delay in a new post= fail
Poor communication, poor customer service = same stupidity that got CCP into this mess

thats right, you and the rest of the nerd-rage brigade constantly threaten to quit... yet here you still are, subbed, and posting angry :words:
curious, isn't it
Which part of "unsubbed" and waiting for sub to run out are you too stupid to understand?

I see nothing that says 1600 GMT.
Normal interpretation of "a few" is about 3.
Post was well over 3 hours ago - Blog/news is now later than promised
Post contained a promise to keep us up to speed if it was going to take longer - no information on the delay = broken promise
